Goldfinches and squirrels. Both are inhabitants of our backyards, yet bird lovers tend to have opposite feelings
about each.

Goldfinches enliven every backyard they visit with their beautiful songs, wild flight pattern and unusual behaviors (they've been known to feed while hanging upside down). Offer them Nyjer® (thistle) seed and watch these daredevils arrive in droves to feast, cheering up your backyard.

Then there's the squirrel. A criminal to many, it's beloved by others. So what do we do with this ambiguous creature? If you're Pro-squirrel, one of our squirrel-tolerant feeders is the way to go. We offer several with lifetime warranties. This means squirrels can eat from the feeder, but they can't damage it. We also have an assortment of feeders that are meant for squirrels only.

If you're No-squirrel, we have squirrel-proof feeders like The Eliminator that are designed to keep those furry critters from dining on your seed. If you already have a feeder that is not squirrel-proof, a dome or pole baffle will keep them away.

Whether you're feeding them or foiling them, squirrel antics are laugh-out-loud funny. Stop by and let us know where you stand in the Great Squirrel Debate; we'll help you feed your furry friends...or beat your backyard bandits
